Lt. Col. Monwar (Retd.) has four advanced university degree, masters in Business Studies (Major HRM) Masters in Civil Engineering (Geo tech) and Masters in Defense Studies and Masters in War Studies (appeared) with Professional Engineering (PEng). He has obtained 4 graduations from different Universities/ Institutions He has attended number (18) of professional courses at home and abroad while including 6 courses under UN and one course under ICRC.
He is presently working as Group Executive Director of Lovely group. He worked as Resident Director (Head of HRM) of PALMAL GROUP of Industries (16000 Employees) for more than a Year and main responsibilities were to plan, Monitor and supervise all HRM issues. He is also acting as a part time Faculty member in department of HRM In business studies (HRM) in Royal University and Darul Ihsan University. Acting as trainer and panel consultant of SKILLSHOP and Rapport Bangladesh. By now He has trained various organizations’ managers.
He has a varied and rich professional experience over 25 years in the field of human resource management, administration, engineering, Security, training/ teaching, development work, logistic and conflict resolution in Bangladesh Army and 3 united nations mission in different capacity and appointment. He has extensive experience in coordinating with different agencies (national and multinational) for procurement & allocating of budget/ resources for the organization/ project at national and international level. He has wide experience in setting goal, planning, prioritizing & executing of task at different project at strategic level at home and abroad. His contribution in this regards as project director/ deputy project director of complex road project and working as peacekeepers to UN are remarkable.
He has also experience in command & leading of engineer battalion (over 1000 personnel) for all kinds of engineering project of arm forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) and civil including management of personal, logistic assets, contract, account, cost effective delivery of cargoes at right time and right places. His contributions as commanding officer of construction engineer battalion and contingent commander to UN mission which under took number of project are significant. |
